Couldn't the rise in car crashes post COVID also be attributed by people having more jobs they have to run around to at the same time? More drivers on the road at any given moment due to ridesharing / food delivery? A large majori

The teams who compile the standard libraries are still made up of people, and sometimes better libraries get written outside of those teams. It's just a natural consequence of the intense collaboration we have in this industry. In fact

The Netflix documentary Quincy is an excellent watch, as Quincy takes you through all kinds of highlights and lowlights of his career and personal life (including his objectively bad dad skills). My favorite two tidbits: - Sinatra single-ha

Yes, exactly! It seems like people overlook the tools and processes that currently exist and how we can integrate those into hydrogen ambitions.

by schainks 2y ago
It's about cost per Kwh stored — hydrogen does indeed have better energy density, but if it costs 10 times more than CAES to store one megawatt hour of energy, no one will finance it. Do some money calculations with some basic assumpti

Am I missing something or was the point for those robots to be human controlled? Tesla is trying to have disposable body parts that are remotely controlled so their workers get hurt less often due to RSI or other assembly line accidents. It

The cost per KW or hydrogen needs to be below $1000/Kwh for your statement to be true. It’s not there yet. CAES is cheaper than hydrogen today at grid scale, generally speaking : https://www.ctc-n.org/technologies/
