It's easy enough to convert something like that to energy potential, but when determining whether a site has good potential for wind energy development we really do tend to think of the wind in terms of speed (in m/s) and not energy density

This data seems extremely unreliable. For example, it claims that in KC you might be better renting, then lists a buying price range of $200-$300k. Then hop over to Denver and it says buying might be better, with a price range of $100-$200k

I'm sorry but I can't even read this. It is hard to look at, textually awful and filled with needless coarse language. If you want to write a longish essay that people will read, learn to edit.

To be fair, the "right thing" would have been to never develop it in the first place, or to have started with making it opt-in and promoted the hell out of it. Deliberately breaking the way the internet works and then, later, changing your

Engadget's title originally did not include the word preview, and hence was misleading.

I think it would be prudent to retitle this as "Apple expected to announce and demonstrate iPhone OS 3.0 March 17" or similar.

Sadly, this is just another Dvorak troll with no useful information. I would have loved (seriously, that is why I clicked) to read a detailed overview of what VisiCalc did, what it couldn't do, screenshots, features, limitations, quirks, ef
