If you self-host Plausible, it's also possible to bundle the analytics package with the website, so that there's isn't an "ad-blockable" lone request for the .js file. https://github.com/plausible&#x

I spent some time to build my own web-based markdown editor, and was using minisearch[0] to index and do fuzzy search on my notes. I've recently switched to Obsidian and plan to make a similar extension in the next weeks. [0]: https:&

I was unable to use pnpm with a project that used Electron (~2 years ago), IIRC because some spawned process was incompatible with symlinks. It's the only time it caused me trouble though, it's indeed much faster than npm. I'

pnpm uses its own lock file (pnpm-lock.yaml), while npm uses package-lock.json You definitely should use the same manager (npm, yarn, pnpm, whatever) as your teammates' or you're going to run into problems, either with them or wit

+1 for "use search instead of organization". I've been taking notes for 2 years, zettelkasten-style, and 90% of them are just dumped in the same directory, without links or tags. If I'm looking for something and remember

The contempt is justified. `goto`s break the flow and make the code harder to read and reason about, and thus make it easier to introduce bugs. It's an instruction that's almost never _needed_ today, because there is always a bett
