I think the mechanisms of this are known, through the effects of stress and cortisol and poor sleep to metabolism, and people's preference to sugar when they haven't gotten enough sleep etc. Not to mention taking the time to cook

Couldn't access the original paper easily, but in studies like this they might use specialized lab equipment -- that allows 'maximal voluntary eccentric contraction' more safely and easily than traditional dumbbell/barbe

I find it easier to go to the gym 7 days a week than 2-3 times a week -- there is no decision involved, and no chance to "oh I'll just do it tomorrow". When I fall off the wagon I can skip a few weeks or months easily though.

Edit: if you remove the second 'at' it makes sense. I think they mean that the buyer will agree to pay $5000 now for say 10 shares (close to current valuation), and get it in a week regardless if they will be worth $0, $5000 or $1
