> “The problem is that macOS is what they call “app-centric” and they’re the only ones who do it.” Actually, it’s document centric - the Windows approach is “app” centric. It has always been like that, 35 years and counting. It’s arg

Remember Bumpgate? Nvidia shipped faulty GPUs to Apple (among others including Dell and HP) which caused hardware failures in around 40% of devices, which Apple had to replace. NVidia refused to acknowledge it was their problem/fault,

So what is the difference between this and the way Eich was treated for his donation to Prop 8? I'm not saying I agree with Eich - far from it. Seeing as an awful lot of people on this very thread were outraged by his behaviour, it str

These devices stopped being smart"phones" a while ago. Complaining about the phone not being a major part of these devices (I'm including Android devices too) is missing the wood for the trees.

The OP was using examples from PZ as a rebuttal to the GP asking if any Google products getting widespread coverage. The provided links are completely and utterly irrelevant. Your average commuter was reading about how terribly insecure iOS

It’s a strawman because it’s an absurd notion. Much like your tu quoque. You are actually claiming that iOS is inherently insecure because firmware updates require a reboot. You are actually claiming that end users don’t upgrade because of
