I go to school at Cal. I haven't written any mods yet, but if you're looking for people to help teach, I'd love to offer my services, both teaching and helping to develop material.

It's good to hear that Cal's grad program is good. I'm in undergrad here right now, and I plan to start researching next semester so I can integrate myself a little more into this side of things. Any advice? If you haven't left yet I'll bu

It seems to me that this service would be really, really handy in countries where Nokia bar phones are prevalent. I'd love to see how many people actually used this service in those areas, because it depriving those people of this service g

I always wondered the same thing. I grew up in that area code, and it seemed as if there was hardly any local talent. Fortunately, within the past few years, my eyes have been opened to the different bands lurking in the local venues aroun

Man, Winston-Salem? I can't believe they'd come through there. Boone does seem like a more natural fit.

Are you the person who runs this site? I think it could be streamlined a lot; there is just so much information on the front page. Who's really going to read all of that? Also, I'm not seeing any FavIcon and the Lobster icon just doesn't

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I'm currently getting a 500-internal server error when I attempt to build my profile. I'm really interested speaking with you, so let me know how else I can get in touch!

Fantastic work. Looks easy to use and takes advantage of a powerful new component of these browsers. Looking forward to seeing it in action soon!

I had the opportunity to get some hands on time with the Leap before Christmas. Leap Motion sponsored a hackathon at my school and brought in dev boards for everyone to borrow, although they were not the completed product like is pictured

To be honest, I'm very disappointed with the comments here. Clay is obviously a very talented programmer, and just like most talented programmers, he didn't start out that way. This article isn't about how he learned OOP, it's about how som

As a current student, these are the types of projects that made me want to study this field. Does anyone know if it's even possible to get a job at one of these R&D centers with just an undergrad degree? What sort of things can I do t

I was able to play with this when the founder came to Berkeley. There is some really cool tech behind this, and I was astounded at the accuracy when I tried it out. I'd encourage you to try it out.

I've actually had a lot of success with my Kickstarter projects thus far. One just came in today, and I'm very satisfied. So far I'm 7/10, with 3 projects currently pending. Here's what I've backed, and how they've turned out: Successful

I think this is a really good move by the Church. The Church is often viewed as out of touch with many people today, as evidenced by the debate over health care and contraceptives we saw a few months back. The reality is that while the Ch

Both of Ark's co-founders are Cal grads. Both of Carsabi's co-founders are also Berkeley grads. Seems smart, Carsabi gets to leave their baby with someone they know and trust, and Ark probably got it for a song.
