I think you're taking it out of context. It's about work friends, not friends in general.

Beyond that, this tends to work across all input fields in your OS. If you're missing this you're missing out on being more efficient in any typing based activity.

I'm sure many people don't think this applies to them because they don't use threads. However, in the modern day, replace "thread" with "process" and "memory" with "database", and many

Even then, mix in people switching jobs, losing the knowledge of where or what all these landmines are, and add similar but unrelated issues across your entire codebase. This stuff adds up. I like to at least add stern log messages when w

This is a whole class of problem - I wonder if there's a name for it. More examples include: talking about welfare being unnecessary because no one is starving. Or people on medications stopping because they feel better (while still

You seem to denigrate being an "advertising company" as if all the work is exceedingly simplistic. I have a friend who recently moved into their ad division from a "sexier" one, and he said the amount of specialization

Any new piece of tech can do it. Facebook's last existential threat was mobile, and they seemed to handle that well. But it doesn't mean they will handle the next, and the next, and the next well, too. Each step is a place they
