The BBC, though in lamentable shape in many ways, is not usually considered a Fake news source. Do you have any links to English language reports that are less biased from your standpoint?

Well I guess you could write sum() instead of Σ, and dot() instead of ·, but I’m not sure it would really help people understand it. Do people find Mathematica expressions easier to understand than traditionally formatted equations?

I found going to acting school a help. I doubt I could have mustered up the courage to do stuff in front of an audience back then, but being given a script to perform in front of a small group of other acting students was much easier.

Some of Sapphire and Steel was amazingly terrifying, given how low budget it was. But I suspect modern film makers would not be able to avoid ruining the ambiguous feeling of the series by trying to depict what is going on in the larger sc

Freedom of speech is an ideal, not a government mandate - you are thinking of the first amendment, which requires the US Federal government to conform to the ideal. Monopolistic publishers that refuse to publish certain works are against f

Mathematica has had that syntax since the 1990's at least. Plus there's good old q's implicit argument naming of x, y, z when you didn't give the args explicit names: each[{2*x}] 1 2 3 1 2 3 {x*y}/: 4 5 6

You are the one that brought up the US constitution, the OP was talking about freedom of speech as a principle. It is hardly surprising that the US constitution would only apply FoS to the government, since that is what it is trying to def

She said "very little" Norman genes, not none at all. Given that the normal story of the Norman invasion is not about mass invasion, but the replacement of one ruling class with another, so relatively few actual people, this woul

I'd say the movie was more about Roy Batty and his chums falling from Heaven to Earth, Roy meeting their creator and then killing him, and then sparing their tormentor while dying. The "Deckard learns what it is to be hunted"

According to http://archive.archaeology.org/9909/abstracts/pyramids.html carbon dating makes the old kingdom pyramids older than their historical dates, although they suggest they may have been using old wood.

You seem amusingly obsessed over a trivial difference in the way two different varieties of English chose to shorten the word 'mathematics'. As far as I can tell, there are no official rules for shortening words in English, so I

It is uncountable. Nobody serious justifies 'maths' based on it being plural, it is just a different contraction of the word 'mathematics' than what you are used to.

Translating the tens of keywords in a given typical language won't get you very far though - you need translations for all the terms in all the commonly used libraries, and documentation of how to use them.
