If you use F#, Fabulous[1] for mobile apps and Fable+Elmish[2][3] for web exist. I use Giraffe's[4] view engine for server-side HTML templating. And it looks like AvaloniaUI is going to have a similar style UI in FuncUI[5], but I'

I'm able to use FSI with the core-sdk 2.2.300, but I believe FSI is still in preview regardless of which SDK you're using.

Rust isn't directly used in VSCode. VSCode makes use of ripgrep (a Rust-based replacement for grep), though.

Ionide, the F# plugin for VSCode, added autocomplete via .NET Core about a year ago. Only thing you need mono for is the REPL, and that's being worked on.

Consider the Ruby Gem, Fog[0]. It is designed to abstract different services away so that developers can just program against Fog and pick/choose different service providers as necessary. It's possible that for specific implementa

I started looking at F# because of .NET Core, and I'm really liking it. I currently use Giraffe in a project, but I'll be switching it to Saturn soon (which uses Giraffe under the hood). And I've identified a potential use ca

The last rumor I saw was that Microsoft shelved Hololens v2 to spend more time working on v3 because no one (e.g. Magic Leap) was even close to releasing a competing product. https://www.thurrott.com/hardware/90780/

Unless I'm mistaken, it only really works well within a component. You don't get prop type checking in the component hierarchy. Also, Vuex is very string-based, so you don't get payload or return type checking when you use Vu

Not sure if they mean Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. VSCode is an Electron-based editor similar to Atom; full-fat Visual Studio does support many languages by itself, but it's Windows only.

It certainly runs on .NET Core (I'm currently using it that way for a project); it just also runs on full-fat .NET, too. ASP.NET Core seems to break with that and only run on .NET Core.

VSCode is based upon another project, the Monaco Editor. As best I can tell, it was introduced in late 2013[1]. Creating VSCode on Monaco was probably heavily about reuse at that point since Microsoft specifically wanted an editor for websi
