For some reason I don't want to like what you've written. I up voted because I agree with you.

Surely not all adults are capable of handling the responsibility of several things; debt, firearms, a vehicle, alcohol etc. I don't want to live in a place where this is a justification for anything.

Funny story; when I was in the Army we had shortened Remington 870s used for breaching. One of my friends was trying to convince everyone that the "shorty" would be ineffective when used in a hanger because of the potential distance between

I'm not sure this is what people usually mean when they say "cutting out the middle man." Here the hotel and you are actually using the services of a middleman without then paying.

I'm nitpicking, and/or don't understand what you've written, it appears that you're making an argument for repealing the second amendment rather than making an argument that it isn't clear what was meant by the second amendment.

I agree that if we limit firearms we limit harm from firearms. Tell me why we should stop at firearms? Fewer children would meet pedophiles online if we didn't have an Internet. Fewer people would die in car accidents if we didn't have cars

To be clear you replyed to a previous poster who made two points. I defended those two points. These are two new points that I'll attempt to address. If there's one argument I cannot tolerate it's a "for the children" argument. Yes great le

1. I don't think the argument is that firearms are less lethal only that attacks and death will still occur. 2. It focuses the conversation on, what I think is, the actual problem rather than something that is achievable but clearly does no

I'm with Gruber on this; this was a terrible article. I read the article I guess I missed the "clear message." The closest I could come to a point, besides the idea that buying Apple products has some sort of hidden tax, was that Apple prod

Sorry for the late reply. "Only if you're obsessed with watching something specific." I take issue with the word "obsessed" but I agree with you point. I'll even, try to, do you one better; if I want to watch something it's easier for me t

I'm not sure I see the point in arguing that piracy is or isn't justifiable. It's happening and it seems to be increasing. The sad fact is that it's easier to pirate than it is to pay. I pay for cable, HBO, Showtime, etc. but exclusively us

I haven't read the article but I think it's important to point out that the comparison is between IE and Chrome not Windows 7 and Chrome. Put another way, if I had an OS specifically built to run a mail application. Then, regardless of hard

In the past 6 months I gave up my iPhone 4S and tried out a few Windows Phones and a Samsung Galaxy S2 (with Gingerbread). I'm very happy with the iPhone but I thought that I would see what's out there before purchasing an iPhone 5. I have

Admittedly I know nothing of "business level productivity suites," but why would you think that WP8 holds the most promise? Judging by WP7, which I've been using for 2 months now, I would imagine WP8 hold no promise. I'd also imagine that a

You really can't say that about many other brands. If I had to guess I would say you have to make pretty great devices, for a while, before you get that kind of brand loyalty. Also, the question is do you think this is a marginal improvemen
