Thanks, very clear explanation. Curious how a third party is always required to get involved in the end.

No, I was actually looking for a real answer as phillipseamore just gave. Perhaps I should have phrased the question differently in terms of SWIFT alternatives.

I recently wrote something to clarify my mind around all this [1]. If we assume that by Docker we mean the Docker engine, then I think you might compare it as you said (maybe more in terms as vim/emacs vs. Visual Studio Code as Git is

I agree on the apples to oranges, but LXC does not directly compare to a container runtime IMHO.. It is a proper engine to be fair, even if it provides much less functionalities as the Docker engine.

Interesting read, not sure why you compared only these two though. There are a plenty of other solutions and Docker is actually many things.. You can use Docker to run containers using Kata for example, which is a runtime providing full HW

Beware of apps like Glimp as the Freestyle Libre gone trials with its own, proprietary algorithm. I saw studies reporting a difference between Glimp and the official Libre HW reader (or App) where it turned out to be off by quite a lot.. Mo

A side comment: beware of how CGM systems are evaluated, it is like if basic statistics gets constantly ignored [1] [1] https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5375072/

This happened to any of us in the early days... :) As a side note, a good framework does not necessarily mean to increase the learning curve, but rather to protect the user from itself.

Meanwhile, loads of compute hours get wasted because of accidentally overwriting output data in structures like /data/final/new_conf9/last_try2/JOBID.txt or due to wrong dependency setup. IMHO the main issue of HPC

To anyone who commented, I of course agree with you. And you are right saying that locking the accounts is unlikely to be the result of a bureaucratic issue. As as I said, very little chance that is not as bad as it seems.

Yep. AFAIK CircuitPython focuses more on low memory microcontrollers and less on connectivity.
