What's the sentiment on OS X being rechristened macOS ? Doesn't this count as a sort've era 2.5?

Tangent, but just wanted to thank you, Colin, for piquing my interest in Maths at a talk you held when I was at school. It was maybe a decade ago now, but putting 2 and 2 together and seeing you on HN is a very surreal thing indeed!

Never ceases to amaze me the options (no pun intended) that OS X developers put hidden in the simplest of system apps. Makes them so versatile. I remember as a stupid middle-schooler thinking I was being cool showing everyone how many <o

No. Just no. The BBC has just started doing this / something similar with their royal wedding coverage* and I found it incredibly irritating. No longer can you scan an article, but instead have to traverse a choose-your-own-adventure

While it's clear that the vast majority of us do not agree with Draper's comments here, let's not attempt to discredit someone based on their (wealthy or otherwise) financial background.

For JS usage, I am actually - on the whole - a big fan of moment. However, I agree with you that the mutability of its core object instances is odd. Would also like to know why this design choice was made.
