I have recently been running FF in parallel with Chrome. If I'm using non-Google properties, that don't use bad extensions, I quite like using FF. It's not quite as stable, but it "feels" faster and lighter.

You can buy 10M PCIe cables commercially. In fact, some equipment use them for their backplane.

That's actually my favourite part of C*. I think the CQL interface makes programming against it extremely easy, and I dare might say enjoyable. It makes getting standard, and understanding what's going on a breeze.

I'm kinda surprised that they don't just build a service on top of generic netlink. For those of you who don't know, Netlink has been a generic API for Kernel<->Client communication for some time. The kernel added the a

I find Postmates competing primarily on food delivery quite odd. When I originally started using Postmates, it was for pretty much for everything but food. When I ordered food from it, it was for the likes of food trucks, where I just neede

Also, if anything, I find that people who are lower-middle class tend to be better with their money than many of the "elite" -- not better as in taking advantage of unattainable economic tools, but perhaps more conservative with p

It sounds like 200ns is the upper expected network delay. If 9 network delays at 200ns are experienced, it'll retrain the link.

In the spec, they say the maximum acceptable network delay is 200ns. The smallest network delay is 5ns.

What's wrong with PCIe? The devices are ubiquitous. It's point-to-point, allowing for device to device connectivity. We have external PCIe enclosures and cables. We have a healthy set of PCIe switches. This is similar. It's a

I work in on-prem infrastructure software. The reasoning that our customers have given us is that they care about security. We have to deploy to customers who don't air gap their systems, but have fun access control policies. For examp

My VP of HR said she would be very worried about hiring anyone from Zenefits (even as an engineer), and that she'd want to have a personal, 1:1 conversation with them prior. I disagree wholeheartedly, but this is an anecdote of signal.

With the new chip, is there a memory controller on the board, or will you still need the FPGA's? Even with the new MPSoC, I think the memory controller is limited to 8GB. Do you know what the most efficient cost / GB confit is for
