You're right. But... ...my dad's top-end washing machine bought 25 years ago is still going strong, working without a hitch. Had simple maintenance once . All the while I'm about to get my third model in 14 years.

What are you talking about? "Importing a car is pretty much impossible"?!?! I walked around São Paulo last week on a tuesday, and I saw a bunch of BMWs, a bunch of Land Rovers, a bunch of Volvos, a bunch of Audis etc. And I'm

I lived there for some years. It's not nearly as bad as you say. The main inconvenience is that it is very car-centric, but the consequence is that you get to walk around in nice green surroundings if you don't want to drive&#

It doesn't matter. The people who develop newer MRI machines will use what they believe in the formulation of their experiments. If that initial development of MRI that you mention didn't amount to nothing, it would have been thro

> Now that science is proven to be systemically corrupt, what will "rational" people base their understanding on? Oh yes, and all the scientific advancements will stop working from now on since science is proven to be corrupt.

Happens with most (very) big structures when new. That London pink tower thing will probably be loved by londoners in a decade or two. And can definitely understand the backlash against the Eiffel at the time it was built. A huge, cold, all

Huh... The Wikipedia link you provided states "Work restarted in the 19th century and was completed, to the original plan, in 1880." So it is technically completed, but its maintenance is now basically year-round, is this correct?

The economies aren't doing good, so you count off the low-crime, free healthcare, good free education, cheap housing altogether?

no, I was just making a point, as in saying something stupid and then just using the cop-out that it was a joke, like the first commenter did. I would defend my daughter no matter the size of the asshole, like most parents would.

To sound like a joke, as in everyone will find it funny and immediately know it is a joke, and to sound like one specific obscure line that is a joke in some film, and that people don't immediately get. They both sound like a joke, b
