There are web players coming up which are really polished for almost all desktop platforms. Not sure about their Android situation. Looks optimistic.

In my experience Apple Music is really good. I have found almost all songs I have searched for. Everything including very old regional songs to international indie artists and Japanese anime openings. PS. Suits soundtrack was one of the ver

iOS is also based on NeXTSTEP(which itself is a derivative of BSD Unix). Also previous jailbreaks could gain root access along with some kind of shell. iOS, in its current form, seems to be a very locked down, sandboxed version of Unix. So

But YouTube, at least the popular video platform, is not meant for publishing songs and is doesn't claim that either. Spotify's sole business is dependent on music and claims to be benefit artists.

I think it's more because of the PCIe interface, and access control and encryption through the T2 chip. The PCIe interfaces SSDs that Apple's been using allow really fast speeds of upto 3Gbps, which is almost double those offered

I agree. Imagine AR Kit being manyfold powerful and useful not just with games and gimmicks but useful stuff. But only a small percent of hardware, the latest hardware can run those features. That would considerably hinder the adoption rate
