My kid has three parents. At least two and a half. His stepmom is a loving, nurturing and influential piece of his life. And he kicks ass: he's smart (probably smarter than me), well-liked, well-adjusted, confident and happy. Seriously, a

Wait. So does this mean that post-menopausal women shouldn't be allowed to get married? Men with vasectomies? People not interested in having children? If procreation is its only use, then lets be consistent.

Not according to Richard Florida. He hypothesized that a thriving gay population is a necessary (but not sufficient) characteristic of a locale that embraces the "Creative Class". If you believe his premise -- which a lot of folks seem to

The best idea I've heard (can't find source right now) is for the gov't to BUY $100B worth of cars over the next 4 years, replacing their own fleet. A big chunk of that (the $25B floated) could be handed over now in order to design a fuel e

Without too many details: existing debts on my credit card for hosting, computers and such, conversion to a c-corp, several trips BOS-SFO, accountants, etc. No salaries yet.

We do, but it tends to be limited by the number of people at Facebook that can work with us. They're spread pretty thin. And since we're in Boston rather than the Valley, we're tend to be a little removed.

I'm probably the one to blame for the complicated sentences. It's a "gift". It is definitely NOT the case that your friends need to be using the app. As long as you tell it who your friends are and where they are (via your facebook friend

Sure. We won the fbFund in July. That round had about ten winners. Each team was given a grant to get started (~$25k) and has access to more funds as users are gained. Naturally, the money is to be used to do Facebook development. I'm ha

S-Corps cannot have non-US residents. That forced us into an LLC (and since, into a C-corp). I'd suggest you talk to a lawyer. 90% of them will be able to cut you a deal on a simple C-corp.
