Having started PatientKeeper ( http://www.patientkeeper.com ), I feel like I have an informed opinion here. 1. Tablets have been around for a while. They didn't take off. I'm not sure why an iTablet would do any better. 2. The integrati

Given the factor of an 80-fold difference in this record-parsing benchmark, we suspect the absolute numbers for the Hadoop benchmarks in the comparison paper are inflated... Whoa! Those are some serious fighting words!

What's missing here is the idea that you want to be able to grow with your startup over time. Being solely involved in startups -- especially since most fail -- only lets you see how an organization is run up to the size of the startup .

The news about Dan has had this question kicking through my head for a day and night, primarily because I've never considered suicide, though I suspect I've been through a depressive bout when my life took an unexpected turn for much worse.

This is wonderfully recursive: Glassdoor reporting on its own engineers' salaries. Even better is that the difference between the two salaries is almost a factor of 2! In a company of "6-15", that is a huge disparity. And I'd suspect that
