I currently use flatnotes[1] as a Frontend with a background cronjob to add, commit and push every night. Works pretty well so far with some acceptable nitpicks. It was a quick and dirty solution to overcome logseq couldn't run in a Se

What I'm missing in modern ebooks (like epub format) is more metadata. Who's talking (character data)? What emotional aspects does the scene have (angry, happy, sad, in a hurry)? Where does the conversation take place (geodata)? I

I'd suggest Mint or Fedora. Mint is more beginner friendly / windows-ish, Fedora is more modern and polished. In general Linux user exp. is more about Desktop environments than Distribution. The "what's under the hood?&q

Yeah... probably. I forgot to mention that Apple computers are a pretty good deal if you are looking for an AI / LLM experimentation machine due to unified RAM which nearly translates 1:1 into VRAM.

I personally think that it is reasonable to "want" an Apple notebook. They have great hardware, great battery life and an ecosystem where every device integrates. Only on macOS you can nicely develop software for iOS. Furthermore

That's one reason I'm done with Apple. I'd recommend to get - Frame.work Notebook (e.g. 13 Ryzen ai) - Lenovo (e.g. T14s) - LG Gram If you'd like to start with Linux as a former a macOS user I'd recommend GNOME with

I also ran into this, but it was manageable (after a bit of research of course). Would love to see a "startup"-Dialog, where they explain these features in a bit of detail with a choice of three modes... Finger printing and privac

# Apple Preview App There is no such thing that can display, combine, annotate and export images and pdfs in such an elegant drag and drop way. It's just so useful and quick, there is no competition.

I did a lot of research for building my own little iPod Nano sized player, which should also have the ability to be controlled by a wired headphone remote. So here are my results up until now: - The best device I found is a LicheeRV Nano[1]
