I never understood why there even is an api for using a string... Same for SQL statements, single quotes in a query string should generate a warning to just use prepared statements instead :-)

Hey, thorsten-voice himself. Thank you for your contribution to the community. I'm a happy follower of your content. Can't wait F5-tts to support the german language. Do you know wether this is planned in the near future?

BTW I was really impressed by the results of F5-TTS. The thing I liked best was the "Tagged" TTS, where you can specify a tag to use different tones of your own voice, like {Angry}What have you done? {Suprised}Me, I did noth

I think you misunderstood... Maybe it's because I'm not a native speaker. I meant it should not be a pain to learn a new language just because you are desperately trying to get a job with it. Do something fun, regardless whose pro

Learning something just to get a job takes the fun away and what is it worth then? I'd recommend to maybe start with something fun, like doing some game development maybe with wasm...

Great and detailed response, thank you. Well, I asked, because a longer while ago I wrote a cross platform tool named `graft` [1] to solve a similar issue: Having to transfer files without needing too much boilerplate on windows, linux and

How about adding a feature list here? What's the difference to croc, sfk or rclone? What makes it the Vetter choice? Did you consider DNS multicast to auto select a host in the local network?

@millhouse1112 I was in a similar situation like you. Nothing seemed to fit and I wrote one myself without a login. Then I noticed, that it would be nice if my wife had access, too, but that required at least multiple lists. Then I noticed,

My opinion is, that you don't really learn a language and its concepts (deeply) by coding for about 1 or 2 hours daily following tutorials. You learn it, when you are coding >5h a day solving problems you did not come up with yourse

With DB I meant SQL / DBMS based. Most DBMS have support for fulltext, while mostly nowhere near the performance or featurette of specialized systems. Elastic, solr and others are based on lucene, and while old fashioned is nothing Bad

Given that you have USB-C /Thunderbolt, you could buy a dock and a notebook stand. I personally don't like external Docks at all, i prefer displays with integrated usb-c pd docks.

You're mostly right, hard usage may lead to fast degradation, but unfortunately it is hard to tell how a device has been used as long as there are no obvious signs. Especially when there was more than one owner. It's a bit like bu

I'd go for a NanoPI R6S[1]. This thing is a 4 Core beast with USB-C Power Supply support. OpenWRT Support via snapshot, see ToH[2]. If this is too expensive, you could also go for a NanoPi R4S[3], but I wouldn't. The N6S is worth
