I work with embedded products that has a SD in them, and we have used Swissbit but moved to GreenLiant "Industrial Card" cards. We do _extensive_ testing of these in-house. Like restarting machines 10000 times etc. We have never s

How many benchmarks for LLMs are there out there? Is there any evidence of over-fitting on benchmarks, or is there truely hidden parts to them?

Their "disover weekly" has never been great for me. But their DJ is perfect.. its what I listen to 99% of the time tbh. No AI slop as far as I can tell :)

Well, this is fun: try "how would I reverse a list in python" in the 1.5b model. It never stops thinking for me, just spewing stuff! It doesn't even seem to be repeating... fascinating! Asking it to be terse produced this bea

Odd, one of those pictures clearly show either a regular RC helicopter, or a full-scale helicopter. You can see the boom and tail light clearly. And no sound associated with it? There are designs for "silent" blades. I mean theyre

Sweden here, and I get less than one spamm call per year I would say, likely from abroad since in Sweden you can easily opt-out of marketing calls, except from companies where you are already a customer, which can be annoying enough.

I cry every time I think about the fact that I managed to CPU-mine 50 btc, and sold it for nothing. Still, I did get a payout from the mtgox disaster and its a decent amount really, considering I put in less than 100$ from the start. Just f

The problem is that using public chargers is, at least in Sweden, so expensive compared to home charging that its suddenly an even worse economic choice to buy an EV. Using public DCFCs (even slow chargers are expensive) the cost is ofte co

In Sweden advertising aimed at kids is illegal, and has been for a long time. But "social media" is bizarrely aimed at kids, or at least kids are extremely susceptible to what influencers are doing. My 10-year old has a wish list

Russia wants the West to react, to stop funding Ukraine and instead fund.. protection for their own homelands I guess. This is a known (theory?), and the game theoretic way to then respond is to, ignore that it happens. Dont stoke any fear

Wow, I am surprised to hear that. Is blocking calls not a thing there? In Sweden you can say that no sellers may call your numbers, companies where you are a customer excluded though. I never get spam calls or sellers calling me.
