That is a really slow train, almost makes it sound like a tram. How many stops were there? Trains here in Sweden, albeit for longer distances usually go either 120, 160 or 200 km/h. Thats 74/100/124 miles/h.

I can only agree, Pozidriv is so much better! I recently bought specifically both philips and pozi head screwdrivers, and Ive generally had both before but it still a hassle to always select the right one.

The problem is some propane grills are fairly low power and will require a long time to "burn off" the grease and other stuff. I routinely do it with mine, but it takes at least 10 minutes full blast...

Desalination was mentioned, and it could conceivably run during the sunlight hours only, storing water for the night. I would imagine that they will build _some_ storage as well in the coming 12 years, or I will be very disappoint.

This sounds really weird, Sweden also has roundabouts but I do not have to yield to anyone on the roundabout, only the ones that I will interfere with? Whether someone enters after or before me is really of no consequence. I am basically no

Is 360 degree lidar really needed? A smaller FOV and higher resolution for 120-180 degrees pointed forward seems a better bet.

Our Passat uses brakes for cruise control, our older Kia Ceed did not. I actually hate when it uses the brake. The non-brake method is much better imo. Feels like such a waste to heat the brakes on a steep incline instead of just rolling wi

It should actually not be "insanely" dangerous to stop at any point, if you have sane drivers and laws. You should always be able to stop before the visible part of the road ahead of you, or before the vehicle in front of you, rig

Our kids can go a long time between seeing their grandparents, and we never forced them to hug them or anything. My dad though, he often forced a hug out of them 10 seconds after us coming in the door, and then got pissed when they started

I do not agree with "For video they don’t have the same expectation" - this is exactly my expectations for say Netflix. Now today I know this is not true and never will be, but I did believe and expected it a couple of years ago.

I frequently loaned books abount electronics and programming when I was 10-15 years old, and I try to take my kids to the library every now and then. I worry libraries will barely exist when they are 15 but the libraries seem popular, at le
