This is silly. I'm not against funding projects through Kickstarter, but "If we hit $300k, Python will be the third language to be supported out of the gate." sounds almost like an ultimatum. What if they don't hit $300k? Will Ruby be the t

I thought that opening was really similar to Louis CK's $5 standup and that grape drink joke - that's Chappelle (around 1:50 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuTjQLfU6Gk ).

I had a similar incident with them a couple of years ago (I think they launched with the same $100 coupon deal?). As a result, I haven't considered them, or even went back to their site, ever since. So much for free hundred bucks.

Why use Flash for a site that's not even that.. flashy? Almost the exact same site could've be done in HTML and Javascript, except potential customers could view it on their iPads, for example.

I find it somehow ironic that there's a half-empty battery pictured on the features page, when electric car battery life is probably the top thing people are skeptical about – http://www.teslamotors.com/models/features

Just thinking – couldn't this be a temporary pre-launch solution because Apple's huge NC data center isn't fully operational yet?

I was surprised about the symbol as well. It's just a matter of time until someone gets hurt while trying to connect their peripherals to a transformer.

When you're really used to work with some IDE (let's say you've been writing PHP in NetBeans for years, use a lot of keyboard shortcuts, etc), then the thought of leaving it and switching to some other editor to work on a RoR project is not

Dunno.. perceived quality? I (as an Android user) really hope that devs will focus on Android app quality. Currently, most of them feel like ports or something..

Definitely needs a location filter and/or location displayed in the list view (like 37signals job board does). Sometimes you just can't use a filter – for example, being in Europe I would be willing to relocate to London or Berlin, but Seat

How ironic – an article about "web scale" and a "503 Service Unavailable No server is available to handle this request." error when I try to open the link :) (I'm certain that Mongo DB is not the one to blame though)
