I've had way less issues with 10.10 previews than I've had with Mavericks or Mountain Lion ones. Those actually crippled my development environments. I've had zero issues with Yosemite thus far, apart from the new features br

Amazon Glacier for stuff that can't be redownloaded or reproduced - personal photos and videos, mostly. Time Machine for documents and projects - those usually live in Dropbox or Github/Bitbucket as well. I don't bother with

While I haven't looked at the source, it is indeed a shame that they're not using a mature, battle-proven framework. With frameworks we have today, why would you roll your own, especially for a project like OwnCloud?
