While it is almost always nicer to have videos attached to slideshows, I am quite sure we would miss out on plenty of excellent content if this idea was implemented. After all, you only see so many videoless slideshows here because your pee

Of course the book will not be banned, this is an absurd link baity claim. The post is based on the ridiculous misconception that the wording BBC News are using will be anything like the actual text of the bill. Stories like these are given

I mentioned neither the neuron or the synapse explicitly. I am fully aware of the differences between the two. If you have a problem with my comments please expand and clearly state your issue. Also, I think it is pretty well accepted aroun

The spelling mistake would make sense, but I agree that it doesn't inspire confidence. The impression I got from the article was the same as yours - they are not explicitly advocating the use of these drugs, but I don't think they

This seem completely ridiculous. Each of the 3 prongs outlined in the article seems weak and even when considered together there is little chance that they narrow down the search to a single individual. I would expect there are quite a few

For those in the UK (where this offer is unavailable), the below may be of interest. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Xeon-Processor-5150-4M-Cache... £1.99 + £1.50 P+P UK mainland.

I totally agree. This should really be changed. Giving employees the option to take pay in bitcoins is a completely different issue to mandating it, as the title seems to imply.

A couple of things to note: - The applicants list features every person's email in plain text (in the 'send x an invite' href). - The list is orderly illogically. As the idea behind this site is that you would sort the best from the worst,

Indeed. I always feel it is better for people in his position (attempting something so incredibly complex with a very low level of related experience) to do the work, then talk about it - rather than the other way around. Talk is cheap when

Any chance we can add 'Django' to the front of the title please? 'REST framework 2 released' is a little misleading. The article is titled 'Django REST framework 2' any, so it would be more consistent anyway.

I see that, but I think this is more of a service misuse than a hack. There aren't really any advantages or 'cool' things about using github for this, bar the novelty.

I don't think HN is the right place for this. Am I right in thinking that the only reason this is receiving attention here is because it is on github? Please correct me if I am wrong.

While that post was very amusing, I don't believe this can really be compared to your example. If this really is a piece of the rover that has fallen off it could spell disaster for a hugely important and expensive mission.

I understand that the website that you are linking to has used caps in the title, but is it really necessary to have them here? Also, why is the 'Your' not consistently formatted?
