According to TA, this also affects lots of other papers even if they are not central to the topic. The intention is to combat "woke" research, but it creates pure chaos and uncertainty across the whole field. There is no official

Jabber/XMMP? I know it doesn't fulfill the same purpose, but since TA is comparing it with instant messaging services I guess it's still relevant.

The major feature of email, federation, is also it's biggest weakness. Rhese days, most emails travel between Microsoft, Gmail, Yahoo, and a few others, and they are in an arms race with spammers. Smaller providers have increasingly tr

I'm aware of the need for regeneration. Fortunately (?) I am not actually disciplined enough yet to do it every day; more like three days in a row and then a rest day. And other exercises in between sets to make use of that rest time.

I fully agree that these simple exercises can get you quite far. I have made similarly good experiences by aiming for 50 cleanly executed push-ups per day. But you will soon have to diversify them, though that requires simple equipment only

Filing a bug report is only half of the work. The bug then has to be reproduced, fixed, tested, documented, and rolled out. Sometimes with a deadline. If that sounds fun to you, I really cannot argue against it. Usually, that is part of a s

Many complaints are about the choice of YAML as a config file format. It is being used for nearly everything, and in many cases fine details of its syntax matter, especially around multiline strings and text blocks[0]. In theory, one can al
