Sounds like a cool idea, wish there was a demo room without uploading a file. Can you talk a little bit about how the video is handled on the server? What steps do you take to keep the file secure and protect the privacy of the users?

I don't have a horse in the race, but watched this closely. The whole situation put Apple in a bad light, and Basecamp got free publicity. I hesitate to say it was planned, as DHH likes to mention he's not THAT smart. Regardless o

Upvote for mynoise.net. This is a more accurate representation, in my opinion. They have a lot of high quality sounds, and we play the baby shush sounds for our infant almost everyday.

I can relate. I hate taking pictures that you have to "fabricate" or redo because it didn't come out perfect. Especially around kids because they might infer these pictures are important somehow.

Oh I love this definition! As a parent of a just-started-crawling infant, I can already see how they thrive on attention.

Oh my! I literally snorted out my coffee over this. This is hilarious. I have followed LPL for a while, but never seen this before. Thank you!

Second this. I was looking for examples of how to use some of the commands. I was able to easily google it in another tab, but it broke the quick-reference workflow.

Not a regular commenter, but I had to reply. I think everyone here agrees this is just a prototype/early work. Why would you be so dismissive of a tool that someone is building from scratch? They are not claiming it is a finished produ

I am not well versed in the different types of licensing for Open Source, but after reading up the links you have posted in favor and against, I think calling your software Open Source is misleading. Great work with the project though, I ca

I did not know about this project at all. I live in North Dallas, and this is absolutely fabulous news.

I am in the same boat. I have an S7 from one of the major carriers that came preinstalled with Facebook. You can disable it, but not uninstall. Also, there is an update to "Facebook Services" which I can't seem to find and di

I've been meaning to spend some time with D3.js for a side project. Bookmarking this, casually scanning this it looks like it's exactly what I needed. How's the book different from the web intro?
