It's fictional because the idealism falls apart when you realize you have to find food and shelter somewhere, which costs money. Very few aspiring artists are independently wealthy. Doing a commercial is just another job. If you did a co

A lot of us work on closed-source projects you know. Open source is great, but it isn't the whole world.

1 per day for projects I am unfamiliar with seems aggressive. I wonder if I would even be able to add any value with such a shallow understanding of the projects. I think 1/week is probably more reasonable if you are trying to get people

When I read this I realized that ministers have been using this tactic effectively for hundreds of years (if not more--I have only read from people from the last 400 years or so). I think this component is what is missing in my own present

You may have built up a huge arsenal of words, but it is still important to choose the ones that best get your point across to your intended audience, whether simple or complex. The real challenge is being understood, not using awesome wor

What I'm hearing from many posters in these comments is my level of fashion-conciousness indicates how innovative I am. I think it's a big mistake to judge a candidate's aptitude for the work by how hip they look. This is the last industr

IMO the only drawback is learnability. And it is countered by the fact that you can make some serious gains in productivity with only a little time invested. I started really investing in cygwin last year and I'm constantly moving more and

In the first person games you can see her reflection pretty clearly in the helmet. I think other game characters often refer to her as 'she' as well (though I'm not certain of this).
