I try to avoid overcomplicating things as (a) it takes time and effort and (b) I won't stick to it. For a to-do list I use a notepad + pen. If I need a plan, I'll make something in excel then print it off. If I need to track lots

Dumb question, but isn't light being project in our face the only way we can see things? Does it have something to do with the brightness of that light or the fact that it's direct that is bad?

Good to know. Is there a single app that's suitable as both a notebook and reading/annotating pdfs? And would restricting the device to one app affect your ability to transfer files to the device over iTunes?

Most reviews I have seen say the battery life is terrible (which is the reason I haven't bought one). Can you share a little more on your experience and the 'long battery'.

So you should be clear about what you are doing. There is a difference between (a) validating a problem statement before you build a product and (b) selling a product that doesn't exist.

I think some more information would be useful. The website doesn't show anything. Also when you click the Mailyo button in the top right, it returns a 404.

Depends on the type of book. Although it might work for textbooks or something you would read at a desk, it wouldn't have the convenience you get from a paperback or an e-reader (eg, you can easily take out a ereader on the train, pack

I have a Kobo Libre 2 which I use purely offline. To transfer files, I drag and drop via a USB cable. It's a comfortable size, has good typeface options, and has two physical buttons for turning the pages. It's a pretty simple set
