I always applaud this behavior when I see it, and it was one of my favorite features of turbolinks when it was still in vogue. Some people are on satellite internet. Some people are still on dialup. Some people are on a tiny sliver of a 3G

Pretty sure OP is confused by the concept of "first win" being the object of the first clause. It feels clunky if you don't read your English like you would read algebra.

When my cohort was 12 facebook was cool as hell. Things really have changed, and I think OP is right. The facebook property has an expiration date.

This seems like a really, really good justification for the Rails Way of having a sane and predictable app file structure and layout where developers who have never seen your code before can jump in on day one and figure things out very qui

It’s changing, slowly. All the research supports starting at 9 or 10 is much better for childhood and teenage development especially, and many private schools and even some public school districts have started pushing start times back to 9

Ads no longer work online, period. The ad industry is just 10 years behind acknowledging it. Most of what people pay for is just paying for the organic traffic you'd normally get with no ads so they don't give it to someone else.
