Bitbar/xbar is great because it isn’t limited to just calling an API. You can run a .py or .sh and print the results, enabling more complex workflows and displays. I’ve build some pretty niche tools using it, mostly related to local we

Any recommendations for an actual desk+chair combo? Ie a chair with a desk attachement? I need something comfortable but ultra mobile. Something like below but ergonomic, arm rests and space for keyboard, monitor, mouse. Probably a very lon

Snowflake + dbt is great for this. Snowflake have a swap database function so instead of doing this at a table level you can create an entirely new database and do a blue/green style deployment. Not sure how this works with pgsql, but

Hydrofoiling seems to be having something of a grassroots style renaissance, with incredible interest across all of boating, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and pretty much any other board/boat water sport. I find this pecul

My only 2c: Your product from first glance looks like a Spyder python IDE. That immediately turns me away from using it as I'd rather use a Jupyter Notebook, or a Streamlit app, or even better than both I've been testing the hex.t

Also working in and around banking, this is a huge issue. Terrifying. Fat finger mistakes are rampant. I think you are on the right problem, but your solution is too much built for you and not for the people creating the problem (low-tech a

I like the notion of a Data Workspace, and that you are supporting both SQL and Python. Very interesting.

Aim at automating something related to something you know very well, as an entry point. Your 20 year exp in IndustryX + a few techy skills could be super useful IMO. A few tech skills on their own will be a hard grind I'd guess, so try

Truelayer cost structure is quite low, order of £400 per month if I recall correctly, which I often thought was relatively cheap. I wonder if the value proposition of free vs £400 is compelling enough. How does Truelayer cost scale up? A mi

Hey, just came across this, it is nice and easy to use. My comparison was with Laravel spark, which seems like a similar way to get all the obvious things running, but I'd prefer to use python. Have you found much traction with this? I

How does this compare to the MLFlow Models project? I like MLFlow's relatively full ML life-cycle management, but would also like something simpler. https://mlflow.org/docs/latest/models.html
