Even if I did have access, I certainly wouldn't want to go back and start changing things. I cared deeply about my members and fully trusted my administrative team to do what they thought was best, and sometimes that meant putting asi

That's very interesting. But then, I remember doing some work on college about Gödel number ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6del_numbering ). Would it be possible for example, to use this as a form of encoding

I Was thinking for example, how hard would it be to let an algorithm pick a random number of valid tokens from a language (say java) and the suyccess metric be something like, the amount (or score) of errors that the compiler returns. Presu

Ah.. seems like I finally got out of it at gen ~530 by changing the amount of champions to copy to increase the amount of gene variation in the pool. I guess it kinda stuck into an inbreeding sort of loop.

A bit OT, but I remember a very cool Quake2 mod that basically built a neural network so that bots could learn how to play. The useful part was that you could save the NN to a file, and so you could let Q2 run for hours (mostly I left it at

Very nice collection, although I think it has a bit too many martian terrain ones and not enough of other types. I love martian terrains but they all seems to look like abstract art after a few images. How about moon shots and other stuff?

I think he is using the word more like a way of saying "the group of factors that ultimately led to this change" and not as if there was actually a change waiting for a trigger so that then "it can happen". At least that

This is actually quite impressive! I wonder how much time it takes to scan one person? If these were made and distributed to enough hospitals adn scan is fast/cheap enough, I'm guessing you could make things quite more efficient&#

Interesting how out of the total HN population there is more than one person that lived in this very small town. Not sure what to make out of it, but certainly interesting.

Done. I also didn't hear about this until now, but surely the 2-to-1 matching is very nice. We really need to donate to this kinds of projects. We can't let our technological past be forgotten, I think.

Around 5:18 she says "I wish I could talk in Technicolor". I think that shows how much of an impression LSD made, as well as what it meant at that time for a housewife to watch a movie in Technicolor. To me, it seems that she is t
