That fills some void, but not all. I particularly liked the <local city> subreddits, used it to find cool events, but now the only alternative is .. Facebook or nextdoor (yikes)

I'll ask here in case I can get help. I followed Beej's linked guide to transfer data over udp sometime ago, written in C on a Windows machine. I then compiled the code on Mac os x but could never get it to work properly. Tried al

A topic I haven't seen brought up enough. Does ChatGPT contain publicly accessible, yet classified information? Will it divulge such information? Anything that can be done to mitigate divulging that? Often two unclassified statements c

This comment is the one that has convinced me to never use AirBnB again. That is absurd.

This is the type of thing where I am staying up just to play it again. I would suggest a simple "how to" pop up, like a question mark button on the side.

If your point is that the department of energy is badly named, you are 100% correct. It's more like the "department of applied science towards security, energy, and nuclear bombs"

In the past 10 or so years, a combinatoric approach to particle interactions has shown surprisingly good results. Simple algebraic calculations have been able to give answers that requires hundreds of pages of math through the feynman diagr

I was specifically referring to "do the same" as in reducing the number of auto accidents, which the parent comment I replied to mentioned. Is that the source of confusion?

I'm really struck at how this comment has no consideration of the quality or accuracy of current FSD technology. Also, public transit would do the same.

I suppose I'm the minority of people that enjoy using Matplotlib. I dont want a 'simplified' interface, I want to be able to do nearly anything and matplotlib provides that to me.

You are not understanding our point. If these rural areas want to break away and go their own way, they wont have the resources to combat crisis on their own, they can't even do that with their current tax revenue and I don't imag

Yep, every time a natural disaster strikes other states and the federal govt will be asked to pick up the tab because they refuse to have enough tax revenue to meet basic needs of their citizens. Happens already with other states.
