How would you determine whether or not there is a "concerted push to deal with sexual harassment and/or sexism in tech"? Perhaps if many tech companies announced such a push? Or maybe if all major tech publications were consi

I totally get it, I would like to see more evidence also, so this story shouldn't be taken as gospel truth. However, it should also not be discounted as false. Google needs to respond to these accusations and make it clear what their s

Yes we do have standard paper and envelope sizes in the US that are similar to Europe. What probably happened here is they printed the info in a dumb layout that was too close to the address field and/or whoever was running the folder-

I read a lot of anti-capitalism jibberish on HN & Reddit but I think this one takes the cake. Then again, I DO recall when my CEO gave speeches about "fostering less teamwork" and that other time he flipped the table at the co

I haven't seen anyone arguing that health care in the U.S. is in anything resembling a free market... Have you actually ever seen that, or did your fingers/heart get ahead of your brain there? ;-)

It's shocking how confident people are in their understanding of economics when they clearly have never read a book on the subject or taken a 101 course on it. People have some kind of instinct for how much money is "too much"

It's interesting to me how this article frames crony capitalism as a use or abuse of government by corporations, almost as if the government is a victim. But it's the government that has all of the power in this context. There
