Stop being deliberately obtuse. We don't want companies using their leverage to change city regulations, even if it's something we agree with.

Apple already offers busses to their current campus, and I can't imagine those would go away when they move. Still, not being able to find a parking spot in the morning is going to irritate a lot of people, and tank productivity.

I have to imagine he wouldn't be going back unless he felt he could do something to improve the company's fortunes. It'll be interesting to see if he does have something up his sleeve.

Not the same thing at all. Have sex somewhere that's not the office. It's honestly not hard.

Funny story: Dan Lyons, a writer for Silicon Valley and the author of the book Disrupted, about his experiences working at the high tech startup HubSpot, said that he had pitched many things that he personally saw during his time there. He

At the same time, this environment puts pressure on people to engage in these activities, and that can lead to harassment. Honestly, it is not that difficult to leave that stuff outside the office.

Lack of separation between personal and professional life. One of the things Silicon Valley companies have been working on doing for a while is blurring the lines between work and not work.

I would say there is tons to learn about this. For one, if your startup starts to grow, don't do what the people in this story did. Try to make your workplace culture have a modicum of decency.

That's true, but ordinary employees will have a perspective that founders usually just can't see, usually due to their biases. As such, it'd be better to take in the perspectives of both, to paint a more complete picture.

I don't care if they believe they're a force for good or not. They're still being shitty, and they should be shat on. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

Dems were calling for Comey to be fired when he commented on the Clinton investigation. If Trump truly was swayed by that, he would have fired Comey at the beginning of his term. The timing of the firing is incredibly fishy.
