It's listed as "iPad 3rd generation" under the compatibility section for accessories on the apple store.

I've tried this in the past but it made both escape and ctrl+[ no longer function. What worked for you?

I finally tried this out today: (while TERM=linux) keys.kmap: keymaps 0-127 keycode 1 = CtrlL_Lock keycode 58 = Control sudo loadkeys keys.kmap This works, but I haven't set this up to load on startup yet.

I used to have it mapped to escape but once I started using tmux I mapped caps lock to control and never looked back. Much more versatile than escape and ctrl+[ will do the same thing (although it's proving hard to break the habit of pressi

Being able to reliably build something with complete control over the process isn't going out of style anytime soon.

I always get confused when I run apps like this and they don't work initially. If you use Vimium, press i when this starts up.

I stare at Vim all day long and I can say that I don't give a shit what tools you use. Use whatever works best with how you think. Personally, I don't need to write a text editor because a group of people who more-or-less think about how to

I'm in the process of completely switching over to the development style described in this article (I read it last weekend). I started typing a response to this and accidentally ended the first sentence with a semicolon, if that gives you a

I use vim, git and a build script. I add new plugins as github links for pathogen. All of my plugins and settings are deleted and rebuilt using the build script and git pull. No issues setting this up between home and work and I have too ho

I use OSX, Windows, Linux and Android daily. Some more than others depending on where I am and what I'm doing, but I'm at work using Ubuntu for 40 hours a week, so I should probably vote that.

"Map/reduce operations aren’t exactly blazing fast, and are single-threaded (though they will parallelize over shards)." This sounds extremely pointless with it being single-threaded, but whatever.

I've used Vim for a year now, daily at work for about 7 months, and still consider myself only a basic to intermediate user of it.

This is useful for testing out a stack that works without having to research, install and compare libraries. I've been planning on doing something similar to this for my next project and this script an others like it are going to be extreme

The first webhost/registrar I used closed down my site (that I had paid yearly for) and made it annoying to move my domain away because I was hosting videos (of myself and friends) on the website. Apparently there was a clause in their term

That's cute; you think the system isn't broken. I'd rather not needlessly put people in jail and ruin their lives for victimless crimes than be pragmatic.

Sometimes I will actually clean stuff just to avoid working on something I hate more, and it's actually almost fun. So this is definitely true from my experience. It's also amazing what you'll get done when the power is out or you don't hav

Pretty much nothing from this article is in vimtutor, as I learned using that and don't recognize any of these commands. It teaches cw, dw, things like that, but it doesn't go into depth like this article.

Anyone know how to get the old alt-tab behavior back? This is the biggest problem for me since upgrading. I generally move between workspaces often and used alt-tab to access only programs on that workspace.
