I don't think it does, I think Rust GUI frameworks have the same problem as Rust game engines, there's more people making frameworks than people actually making applications. They mostly seem to be going in the same direction as w

Even hooks are almost 5 years old, there's been some changes to the hooks API but it's largely the same.

At least it isn't as lame as Reddit's Anti-Evil Operations, pretending like being a moderator makes you a superhero.

Bulk billing for GP visits seems to be getting rarer though, I looked on Healthengine and there's way less GPs doing bulk billing in my capital city. My last GP visit was ~$50 after medicare.

Some of this is due to Scrum but other parts of it would still exist in these companies even if they changed to Kanban. I think the problem is the kinds of companies that have these processes can't find an alternative. The companies I&

Twins have different parents too, being a twin doesn't mean you're treated the same in every instance, there are actually difference between twins even if we do look similar.

The only incel forum I've seen is incels.is and searching for Andrew Tate I see just as much if not more negative opinion of him as there is positive. Even the positive ones are "yeah he's a grifter, but he annoys people I do

I think you're being too charitable about No Man's Sky, some of the stuff they said was just absurd. Multiplayer was the most notorious after it was released but then there was stuff like this [0]: > The team programmed some of

I've never seen this usage of list comparison before but apparently it works in Rust (both of these print true): println!("{}", vec![1, 2] < vec![10, 2]); println!("{}", (1, 2) < (10, 2));

I don't see retrospectives being that much of a time-sink, it's a 30min/1hr meeting every 2 weeks. Even when I was on a kanban team they still had a fortnightly retrospective, it's useful to have a checkup occasionally.

I've been using Bevy to push me into learning Rust and it's working well for me, I haven't had to worry about lifetimes much and even without understanding references for a while I could still tinker with stuff.

Just because you see something in "weeb culture" doesn't mean it's unique to "weeb culture". Naming things after people happens everywhere, even in programming, booleans, bezier curves, Turing machines, etc.
