Probably because you don't have an SSD. It's a shame that entry level models of both the iMac and Mac Mini have hard disks rather than SSDs, because it gives a bad experience. I have a 2012 MacBook Air, 8GB, 256GB SSD still works

They don't want to make it NVME only, because they don't want to make a cheap Mac Mini with SSD, because it would eat into their iMac sales. Right now the Mac Mini starts at £479, but the cheapest with a SSD is £859, don't fo

It's about getting information in realtime, i.e. @mentions, DMs. Polling for that sort of stuff is time consuming and you'll hit the limits pretty quickly.

Sony's make mirrorless full-frame, they already able to replace SLRs for many photographers. It's not a trade off as you suggest, because Sony image quality is rated as one of the best, if not the best in the full-frame market.

Mostly yes, people are locked into their brand through the lens mount and it's pretty expensive to switch. In some ways mirrorless hasn't been considered as good as SLR, with focusing and battery life, though this has been improve

I agree with this, on Twitter and Facebook I will very often repost stuff, but on Instagram I never do. However, I do think it's hard to get noticed on Instagram (if that's what you want), due to the lack of native sharing, likes

Automate what exactly? the point is most home users access their router with 192.168.0.1, they don't have a domain name, nor are they likely to want to buy one. This is now no longer a niche thing that a few people want to do, it'

Most home broadband users don't have domains and would be unlikely to want to pay for one, just to remote login to their router.

My advice is not to worry about pay in the short term. Once you have some experience pay will be much higher. Think of working somewhere as education essentially, if they pay you minimum wage too, that's a bonus. I'd find a compan

Is it so hard though? Do Facebook, Google etc. have this problem too? I doubt it. Systems need to be designed to be patched regularly from the outset. Yes, defense in depth can help, but it's not defense in depth if you one of the laye
