And for those that look at about:support and see it's disabled for some reason (an add-on you use doesn't play nice with it is the common thing), you should install an add-on called Add-on Compatibility Reporter, to tell you which

Anecdata, but I've had nothing but performance problems with rsync.net and while their engineers were helpful to try and diagnose why, ultimately I've been left with ~10Mbps to/from their network/storage. That's &qu

"probably" isn't a good enough standard when the weapon system can end hundreds of thousands of lives and is paid for by the taxpayer. And really it's the second thing that people are upset about. If renewing Trident cos

I've just switched from Evernote to something else (Apple Notes) and Evernote's export format is widely supported for import into other note tools. The single file exports also include all of your binary data, and I found Apple No

You're right; Quake had a software renderer first and hardware 3D came later. GLQuake is the number one reason I got into graphics and I have it to thank for my career to date.

Except those machines are (arguably) full of compromises in today's market. I don't feel the same personally, but I get the general impression that if they kept each product line healthy and active, then the differences between ea

No comment on the content, still making my way through it, but there's a ligature/glyph rendering issue with all lowercase "if" sequences which is distracting. If the author is reading the comments, maybe they can fix it

I was building a similar product at deadmansswit.ch for a while, but gave up. I always thought the privacy-leaning Swiss aspect of the URL was fun, and I planned to have it run out of a DC in Switzerland. I had more than email as the check-

How did you handle importing binary data you had in Evernote into org-mode? I've got a bunch of PDFs, images and other non-text data in my Evernote workbooks that I'd need to take care of.

glReadPixels() forces you to synchronise with the CPU at the point you call it, and stops the driver from carrying on with further GL commands until it completes. Doesn't matter what you're rendering to. So even if it's cheap

I've just noticed that the linked iOS app -- https://github.com/rephorm/pass-ios#readme -- is no longer there. Not sure if it has a new home somewhere else.

SPIR-V is an IR and isn't designed to be human writable, so you still need a higher level language, like OpenCL, to emit it. If browsers had a standard way to consume a language independent IR, although SPIR-V might not be the most sui
