LOL, well one night I brought the team over to my house, lit a big fire (I have a huge backyard), burned some steaks (no diet restrictions in that group), and we threw hatchets at an oak tree... That's not really it, but it just goes t

Yes, when I wrote this some time late last year I vaguely recall that Appium wasn't quite able to fit my need. It looks much nicer now. I want something even less complex for the developer to set up. I want something that shows almost

I use this knowledge to build hyper effective software teams. In the military I learned just how much the cohesion of a group contributes to its success. Two major factors of unit cohesion that I observed were pride in the mission, and emot

Partly, but boot camp mostly serves as cultural indoctrination. I will add that the camaraderie most people miss when they leave the service is from losing the daily interaction with people whom relationships were formed through adversity,

This is why building trust by starting small and delivering exactly what you said you would for exactly the price you said is key. Clients and stakeholders alike will never cease the asking for more than you can reasonably deliver because t

In Instruments since iOS 7 this has been somewhat possible but the JavaScript context was fairly locked down. I wanted to drive my UI automation tests with Cucumber (Ruby) so I wrote a little driver that patches Instruments to get access to

We homeschool our children and for a year we tried unschooling. My wife's cousins were all unschooled. There is definitely merit to the approach, although done right (unschooling) it can be much harder for the parent than it looks. Don

This critique completely misses the boat. The author explains why HealthKit will likely never share data from an EHR via some sort of HIE. She's right, and that's not the point. Doctors (usually) do not trust health data collected
