Just a project for now. I have a few things that I may add in the future that could turn it into something that might make money (maybe a daily featured poll?) I doubt I'd ever put ads on the polls though.

I definitely agree with keeping them separate and not confusing people into thinking they may/may not be connected. It's fine to maybe mesh a few features together from Facebook to Instagram or vise versa, but keeping them separate is a mus

It's not. It's just crazy to think that a web app with $0 revenue that's been around for ~2 years can be worth a newspaper that's been around for over 150 years and has won more Pulitzer Prizes than any other news group.

Exactly. They have over 27 million users. Surely that played a role in the acquisition as well.
