These guys launched less than 4 months ago... how can we possibly be talking about 'failure'?? It can take months, if not years, of iteration and course correction for a startup to find its groove. These guys are working hard.

Also they did stage the launch over a few weeks. I noticed it appear on my facebook page (because I'm in the Stanford network) well before it appeared on most of my friends'

Unfortunately they all have different issues. Google video is good because it supports long videos, but some of their servers seem unreliable and occasionally videos fail to load. Blip is good but they don't support seeking well (i.e. you

If this is your first startup, then it's definitely worth it. We weren't 100% sure going in, but coming out can say it was absolutely the right move.

It's actually a scaling issue - our server is seeing an order of magnitude more traffic than even our launch spike. We are working on a solution right now :)

We are working on a feature that will let you whitelist a set of people who are able to add comments. The author can also choose to disable commenting completely.

You might consider getting a co-founder. It's likely your moods will be out of phase, so that when one is down the other can be the motivating force and vice versa. Also accept the fact that doing a startup is an emotional roller coaster -

all 19 companies gave amazing presentations. I'm sure all will be spending the next few weeks talking to potential investors and figuring out how to take their businesses to the next level. Expect to hear a lot more news about the companies
