I use StartPage and thinks it works very well. I like the "Proxy" function, but it's only available for search results, it would be nice if you could submit a link and use the proxy function for pages not indexed by StartPage

But the situation here is direct opposite of the article you are linking to. Every year for the last 15 years or more, I have read the PC is dead. If every year I was reading that the PC was NOT dead, then the article would make sense.

After reading the README I think that "Felony" is a very appropriate name: ... built on the modern web with Electron, React, and Redux. Building desktop applications with web frameworks should definitely count as a felony.

First, of course you can make a living out of desktop applications. In the echo chamber of HN you could maybe get the idea that they are no longer relevant, but out in the real world millions of people need to do real work, but don't h
