This page causes my browser (Chrome stable, Linux) to "aw snap" after half a second. What nasty JS are you running here?

This. It is impolite to link users to spammy wiki-scrapers, unless your post is: "Hey, someone made another spammy wiki-scraper!"

I am confused. The "Q2" on the x-axis makes it look like we're comparing half of a year's total to previous years' totals. My squishy human brain wants to put each point on equal footing. Edit: I see, the graphs are continuous.

I like to hate as much as the next HNer, but that chart says that Facebook's customer satisfaction went up this year. With so much actual badness to choose from, we don't need spin.

The first post you linked to goes on to say "We obviously did not 'pre fill' any fields without any user action." Is there any evidence you can provide our ridiculous INTERNET COURT that they did?

Not only that, but you can make a post that has only one recipient. Private messaging is a special case of "I can send this post to specific recipients." Facebook's private messages exist as a separate thing in part because of how hard it i

This question presumes equality in other ways of our treatment of female presenters. You have changed more than one variable.

Invites have been open all day. I'll invite you if you don't mind being disconnected entirely from the social graph. Please add a way to contact you, or a link to a way to contact you, to your HN profile.

The conclusion is that there is no overlap? To paraphrase "A Princess Bride": You keep saying "It's No Contest." I don't think it means what you think it means.

This was my experience 6 months ago (I ended up using multiple firefox profiles for months because of it). Just tried it again this week, and I haven't run into the "derp derp derp one half of your accounts aren't allowed to see this"-type
