Looks like regulatory capture. What do the AI bros want to do that they require such law? I guess it is future proofing to defend scraping. Scraping that ignores robots.txt

Makes me wonder if cooks, who (in many countries) stand in front of a gas stove for long hours every day have a statistically higher chance of asthma?

Doom which was countless fun for people up to this day who make mods? (E.g. the great Myhouse.wad that was perhaps FPS of the year... 2023) Quake, which was a good game, but arguably a better engine that lead to things like Half-Life 1? Oth

I think English was not set as an official language since... Trump? It was the de facto language, but not the official language. What was baffling.

In a company where I worked, the tool measuring downtime was at the same server, so even if the server was down they still showed 100% up. If the server didnt work - the tool too measure didnt work too! Genius

What circular logic is this? Other poster writes that code is not auditable since it is not 5 lines, but 20 000 lines and you tell them to audit it?

Microsoft seems to have made a good deal: it got the models AND profits. Also microsoft is pushing copilot to office and I think it will sell. Since they sell to general B2B and not only to the peogrammer niche. AMD is trying to buy market

The manufacturers dont want to do that because this increases costs and also makes them sell less laptops. Iphones have glass backs for a reason. Sales boost Although a premium brand could do it.

The article has no math. In my opinion this makes the level of discourse low. The other commenter wrote that I dont know the math and that "math can be learned from books". For me quality of comments is even lower than the quality
