Both in mathematics as well as in colloquial language a term's definition must be such that it is useful. The term "normal" is grammatically an attribute (something is normal or is not normal). If "normal" is define

Precisely speaking "dryness" cannot be normally distributed to begin with as it is a value on a finite interval.

The normal distribution does not define a mathematical meaning of the term "normal". Any distribution can define a normal range relative to that distribution.

The term "normal" has to refer to a range - not a point - exactly for the reasons you gave. Then it does make sense to make a statement like 90% of some population is normal.

Maybe a good moment to commemorate the infamous RedTubeGate from 2013 in Germany: A couple lawyers and fishy business men launch an ad campaign on RedTube. Through that advertisement they collected IP addresses of visitors. Before launching

First I hoped for a parody but now I'm left unsure whether this is meant serious or not. Especially this (joke?) is hilarious: "I followed my mentor’s advice and started to check-in at least every half day with each pair of engine

It's called a "meta". If you manage to take a picture of somebody taking a picture of somebody taking a picture - congratulation, you just earned yourself a "double-meta".
