In other words, nobody cares that the generated code is shit, because there is no human who can review that much code. Not even on high level. According to the discussion here, they don’t even care whether the tests are real. They just care

I asked mainly because of the terminology. I read the primer of how to code OOP in plain C about a decade ago, so I knew that the paradigm definitely can be applied to “non OOP languages”, but I wasn’t sure whether the term “functional prog

Is it possible to have an OOP language which is also functional? Or is it impossible without imperative paradigms?

The other way is true too. I’m reading for about 20 years quite often that Linux is perfect at last, no issues exist at all, and it improved immensely the year before, because “back then” (ie one year before) it was terrible. And of course

We are under an article which tells you that you can have problems with Wayland and hiDPI screens. And for example I’m one of those people, who uses X11, because Wayland failed on many levels, like buggy video playing, crashing while changi

It’s quite funny, that I was in a very similar thread here a few years ago, where it was flat out stated that everything worked on Linux. Just like how many people state it now. When I commented that, but for example dpi scaling is still br

Law and your list are not the same. Trump definitely killed probably 100s of thousands of people, with how he handled COVID, and USAID. The law doesn’t consider those as murders, but it’s quite obvious that they were. The rape on your list

If you check a thread about GrapheneOS, almost everybody praises it, and many even state that everything works. If you look into it however, a ton of things simply don’t work, and they just don’t care. Heck, even in this thread there are pe

I don’t know why you think that I haven’t tried those configurations in your mind. Are those completely undocumented and cannot be found on the internet or something?

A ton of open ports, some of them completely undocumented, and many Macs are shipped with all firewalls turned off by default. Also, I was quite surprised how easy to turn on an unencrypted VNC server without a single warning.

If you just install MacOS, Windows, or any major Linux distros, all work okay with default settings and drivers, almost all the time. Problems start when you want something else or more. It’s like when you want Docker on MacOS. Helpful peop

What if these kind of games are a problem for kids with shit parents, or kids who are in a dark places for other reasons, like bullying? The same with like drugs, gore, or porn? Should we just ignore those kids? Or what do you propose?

I heard this “review very closely” thing many times, and rarely means review very closely. Maybe 5% of developers really do this ever, and I probably overestimate it. When people send here AI generated code, it’s quite obvious that they don

It’s not that simple. I’ve seen several routes where ultra low cost carriers simply lost against normal airlines. Especially when there are multiple airports in a given city, they often loose at usable airports. For example in Brussels.
