I really don't understand this American attitude where everything someone does always has to be a revelation like never seen before. Oppenheimer was clearly an extremely capable physicist, and to portray him as "no Einstein"

Impressive? This is the default. You have to actively do stuff to make it slower.

It is beyond my comprehension why TODO apps exist. I mean, there's Notepad, and there are notepads, and I really don't see a workflow that is not suitable for them.

Praise displayport all day if you want, but the connector sucks and the protocol is too complicated (protip: when something in IT is called "powerful" you probably want to steer clear of it). It is much more convenient and practic

Sounds like bullshit to me? The 1x1 case reduces to multiplication so it's multiplication without multiplication?

Hah, I had exactly the same experience. I followed a compilers course and the task was similar, but we had to use some whack compiler framework without any documentation. Apparently the professor was the only user of the framework, but nobo

Very nice! A bit of feedback: when you quickly click many cards, they are open at the same time, which makes it trivial to see pairs. So maybe you want to wait opening any cards until the last pair is closed.

As much as I am a programming enthusiast, since I started working I really think 40-50 hours of staring at a screen is enough (if not way too much). Especially if you're overweight, spending more time sitting behind a desk is just a po

It sounds counterintuitive, but it's not that hard to come up with an example. Suppose you have a game where your score is A*B. The strategy to only increase A or only increase B are losing ones, but combining them gives a winning stra

Very cool, looks very polished. 2 points of feedback: 1. Why only frontend and backend topics? I would love see some mathematical or CS topics. 2. The back button doesn't work on the site which I always find very annoying.

Sorry for the ignorance, but what do you mean by C-API here? Normally I'd say you mean the interface you use when you call native machine code from Python, but I don't see how this would slow things down.

Why doesn't this work for x=2? Let T denote the space of binary trees. Any 2-tuple of trees (L, R) can be written as a binary tree with left node S and right node T, so we have an injection from T x T to T. For the other direction we c
