Moving the data into another table would still require indexes: one on the original table's column (which now stores the new id) and one on the new table's primary key. In most cases I'd expect just adding an index to the ori

MongoDB was using AGPL before they created and switched to SSPL [1]. You're right about ElasticSearch, they were Apache-2.0 before creating and switching to the SSPL + Elastic License dual license [2]. [1] https://en.wikiped

I don't see how that's practical. If a project requires "contributing back" and then doesn't accept the changes, the fork can't exist?

Has there been any update on the legality of using this kind of model? Is it ok to just crawl the web, take any content you want, train a model and sell access to the model like OpenAI/GPT-3/GitHub Copilot?

That would be exactly the thing generics are supposed to fix (except that Go doesn't have tuples yet, but at least you can define your own now and return a generic `Tuple[A, B]`). Regardless of that, returning a tuple of size 10, espec

I find reading Go code quite the opposite. It takes a considerable amount of time to figure out that the given 20 lines of code actually do `filter f . map g . fmap sum`, for example. Simplicity in the language means _your_ code has to impl
