- No yolo mode. Eg use opencode. - It only effects bad models. Good models would see through such comments, such as good compilers see through bidi attacks in comments. So it only affects models like gemini, grok, big pickle, mistral, haiku

It already is illegal in the EU under the EU Data act. The VW executives are just criminals who don't care about the law, because they can bend it like before.

It means, familiar to anyone close to the code, but not to any exec. The AI makes it clear even for execs, juniors or flybyes. Which you usually don't want to have around near that code. But in the end Stallman was right. it pays off t

In slave states without proper civil rights, like the US, you can buy them. Your contract forbids everything. Eg every SW you produce in private belongs to the company, not to you. Or everything you say in private will affect your contract.

No AI comments is silly. Of course you need to be able to explain and summarize it yourself, but the AI does it so much better.

I used the new one for a paper, and it was really easy and beautiful. Just the cross generated TeX for arxiv looked bad.

It is not the model's job to stop or continue, it's the agent. Qwen has nothing to do with it. Right now now I switched to the latest codewhale agent (in Rust), and it would perform much better according to his qualifications. Muc

Not really. MSVC is too broken. I just mimic x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc, which exists everywhere.

That ship sailed already. You simply have to mimic gcc. Which is at least better than with MSVC, where they did everything differently, and only half of it.

tcc is pretty good for this. What I want to explore is cheap and fast optimizations, without SSA and data flow tracking. I have huge sources files compiled to 25MB .o files, which should need to be compiled in less than 5m. So far only tcc

I just implemented a fast small compiler rcc to compete against tcc, and these glibc header quirks were simply fixed in the same way clang does it. By defining all gcc predefines and implementing all gcc extensions. Needed a day. And my hea

I see the complete opposite. The lower level the language, the less babysit the agent. Pure asm is the best, only with very advanced SIMD flags it has problems. C is excellent. But python or typescript are full of errors all the time. I rat

Good list, but the most dumbest way was how perl11.org died. The guy who paid for the domain, didn't pay the domain fee anymore without telling anyone else. So we lost it. And then gave up.
