It is a proven fact that Germans systematically killed jews and other political enemies in concentration camps and elsewhere. There is no other “conclusion” to be drawn from the overwhelming physical evidence of these crimes.

After switching to a Onyx Boox Note Air from an iPad I am so happy with this technology. Writing is truly paper-like and reading is so incredible. Latency is great, pens work nicely and are much finer and (can) have more friction than the A

Same in Germany. E.g. you cannot publicly state that the Holocaust was an invention because that it happened is a fact. So it cannot be an opinion. Although differentiating between the two is not always easy and often left for the courts to

My point is: No publicly traded company goes “above and beyond” for their employees. They literally work for the interest of their shareholders. Individual workers’ rights do not matter for them. And a high salary is not everything, especia

What a naive world view is this to think that a large enough company goes “above and beyond” for their employees... As a German these American work ethics are so weird to me. You are being put on a stick and held over a bon fire and all yo

That is true except that it does not offer a sufficient solution for a synced mobile app. I was very happily using it and even created a Todoist premium account only to find out that the interpretation between the two tools is very lacking

Wow thank you. That is quite feature complete. It is just the ugliest map that I have ever seen. And there seems to be no way of changing the map theme. Will still try it as my default for now. Thanks!

Is there a reason why all the OSM alternatives on iOS (like maps.me, osmAnd, mapout, etc.) require you to download the more zoomed in maps? I think being able to download is a nice feature but I don't often need it and would like to us

As a German I was shocked to find out that in the US Charter would not let me configure anything in “my” Charter modem. No dynDNS server, no ports forwarding, not inspecting what is wrong, not even blocking internet for certain MAC addresse

I disagree. Signal on Fedora works very well for me. Even video/audio calls work surprisingly well. And it is available as a Flatpak.

I bought the M3 right when they came out for about 320€ (I think they were 380 but there was a deal). And got a reimbursement about a year later because of technical problems. Because I really liked them I bought them again and the price th

Good idea. Just looked up the „Moments“ app in the iOS app store and consensus seems to be that it is pretty bad and slow (sub 3 star rating).

I bought the business cousin of the XPS 17, the Precision 5750. The screen-to-body ratio is amazing. And the 4k screen is beautiful, the build is attractive, thermals are good and the speakers are nice as well. (From an Apple perspective th

That is true, but you cannot say that this will lead to the same situation as in the US. The apprenticeship system is well established and it it just not feasible for everyone to take the time and money to study. Apprenticeships are payed.
